At CenteringPregnancy you follow the pregnancy check-ups in a group of 6-8 pregnant women who are due around the same time. Instead of short individual appointments, you will have 2 hours to learn together, share experiences and go deeper into topics that you find important. It has been proven that this form of guidance ensures less stress, better preparation for childbirth and more knowledge about pregnancy and postpartum period.
What Makes Centering Pregnancy Different?
You have an active role: you measure your own blood pressure, weigh yourself and fill it in your file.
Much more time for questions and sharing experiences.
17 hours more care than with the regular check-ups.
You build a network with other pregnant women in the same phase.
What does the program look like?
The intake is individual, the 8 meetings afterwards are in group.
The first 4 meetings are every 4 weeks, the last 4 every 2 weeks.
After the 8th meeting you will have another individual check-up.
The last meeting is a few weeks after the birth, and the baby can come along!
