Providing good care is very important to us. That is why we are happy to contribute to the training of new midwives.
Midwives in training: the care of tomorrow
Several times a year we supervise students of the Midwifery Academy Rotterdam. These future midwives learn the profession in practice in our practice. With your permission, they can be present at check-ups, childbirth and maternity visits.
What does this mean for you?
If a midwife in training is present, you can expect the following:
They never perform actions without your permission and without us being present.
They handle your privacy with care and, like us, have a professional secret.
We always remain responsible for your care.
During childbirth, they can offer extra support and coach you where necessary.
Always in consultation
You decide whether you would like a student to be present. Don’t you like this thought? Feel free to let us know, we will of course take that into account.
Always up to date
We will keep you informed via our social media and messages in the waiting room when a student is present in our practice. That way you know exactly what to expect.
Our students learn a lot from the experiences they gain with us. Without your help, they cannot fully learn this beautiful profession. Thank you in advance for your trust!
