When do you call us?
We are medically responsible for you and your baby during the postpartum period. Are you worried? Or do you have complaints? Then you can always call us!
Call the midwife immediately via the emergency number: 010-4854065.
Call us in these situations
For yourself:
We as midwives are responsible for your maternity period. Do you have questions or problems, for example with feeding? Then the maternity nurse consults with us and we make a plan together.
In the maternity week:
A maternity pad full within half an hour.
Two or more large blood clots (the size of a fist).
You feel dizzy or unwell because of the blood loss.
Are you fully breastfeeding? Then your baby needs extra vitamins:
You can't urinate or you feel like you don't empty it properly.
Around the 4th day after birth, your baby will have two tests:
A temperature of 38.0°C or higher.
You feel sick and not well.
🚨 Plotselinge pijn:
Veel pijn in je buik, benen of borsten.
Rode plekken op je benen of borsten.
🚨 Emotioneel niet in balans:
Je voelt je erg somber of verdrietig en denkt dat dit meer is dan normale kraamtranen.
Iemand in je omgeving maakt zich zorgen over hoe jij je voelt.
Voor je baby:
Slecht drinken en niet plassen.
Erg suf of slap reageren.
Blauw of grauw zien of moeite met ademen.
Te hoge temperatuur: 38,0°C of hoger.
Te lage temperatuur: 36,4°C of lager.
